Mercedes-Benz, in a move to build up the excitement surrounding the launch of its SL-Class at next week’s 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, has revealed a teaser photo of the revamped SL-roadster.
The grille retains the chrome bar with the 3-pointed star at the center, though it gets the diamond grille design present on the other present Mercedes models. A new design has been devised for the lower grille as well with a more rounded top. The front vents don’t come with the daytime running lamps anymore.
The headlamps have received a minor facelift. The new lights retain the flowing design of the housings, which is presently highlighted by a DRLs stripe over the new 2-lamp layout. The bonnet design seems to be similar to that of the present model with sharp lines flowing from the grille’s edge to the inside of the mirror.
The refreshed model will make its global launch at this LA show on November 18, featuring a revamped front fascia.
